  • Children’s Summer History – The Fort Bend County Museum

    Let’s celebrate the end of summer with your favorite activities. Throughout the summer guests will vote on their favorite programs that they just can’t get enough of and we will do them again!

  • Snow Day – Houston Zoo

    Enjoy two snow fields, a smaller field for the little ones and a larger field for the bigger kids, and chill out on a hot summer day. Kids of all ages can create their own snowman, make a snow angel or simply enjoy the cold snow on a hot summer’s day.
  • 30th Annual AIA SandCastle Competition in Galveston – AIA Houston

    The AIA Sandcastle Competition is on for Saturday August 20th. The AIA Sand Castle Competition is a daylong event where more than 60 teams will compete to build the most spectacular sand castle. The public is welcome to watch as the teams build from 10 AM to 3 PM. Voting lasts from 1 PM to 3:30 PM. There will be live music, refreshments and an award ceremony announcing the winners.
  • Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic and Lawn Games – Discovery Green
